January 31st – Ground Hog Day Dinner- The Harrison Township Historical Society will be hosting its annual Ground Hog Day Dinner at 6pm (doors open at 5:30pm) at the Ewan Fire Hall. Tickets are $15 per person and can be purchased at the Amazing Grace Resource Center, 33 South Main Street in Mullica Hill or online at TicketLeap (Click Here). March 28th – Annual Easter Egg Hunt & 5K Hop N’ Run- Join us on Satuday March 28th (Rain Date March 29th) at the William Wilt Soccer Complex, 134 Walters Road. Register early for the 5K Hop N’ Run or by 7:30am day of event. Proceeds benefit the Harrison Township Community Day in May. Race time is 8:30am and the Easter Egg Hunt starts at 11am. April 26th – Antiques Street Fair- Join us on Saturday April 26th (Rain Date April 27th) from 10am-5pm for our beautiful Antique and Vintage Street Fair with over 40 vendors from the neighboring tri-state area. Mullica Hill merchants, featuring antiques, collectibles, vintage jewelry, pottery, primitives and much more will line the sidewalks along Main Street. May 2nd – Harrison Township Day- Join us on Saturday May 2nd (Rain Date May 3rd) at 9am for our annual parade down Main Street, followed by amusements, vendors, music,and fireworks until 10pm at Ella Harris Park, 155 Commissioners Road. For more information, please visit HarrisonTwp.us.
May 9th – Art Festival- Join us on Saturday May 9th from 10am-5pm for our Art Festival featuring local and out of state artist, offering one of a kind hand crafted items from pottery, photography, jewelry, glassware to quilts. There will be a number of artists demonstrating including glass blowers, painters, potters, woodcarvers and much more. There will be activities for adults and children along historic Main Street. June 13th – Mullica Hill Book Festival- The Mullica Hill Merchants are hosting our first annual Book festival on Saturday June 13th from 10am- 5pm. Please join us in historic Mullica Hill for a day filled with author meetings, storytelling and activities for children. You will also find many old and new books in our specialty and antiques stores, as well as other book related merchandise throughout town. September 12th – Concert on the Hill /Chicken Bar-B-Q/ Antique Car Show- Join us on September 12th from 10am-7pm for our annual Antiques Car Show, featuring 40 antique cars displayed behind the Old Mill and along Main Street. Prizes will be awarded to best in show car. A concert will be on the hill at South Main Street, behind Sisters. A Chicken Barbecue, catered by Rodes, will be held behind the Gathering Room. October 10th- Mullica Hill Ghost Walk- Join the Harrison Township Historical Society on Saturday October 10th for our ever-popular Ghost Walk. Explore Mullica Hill’s haunted history as you walk past the historic houses and public buildings along Main Street during the 1 and 1/2-hour guided tour. Ghost Walk tickets are $7 per person. Tours will depart from outside blueplate restaurant, 47 South Main Street, every 10 minutes beginning at 6:30pm. For information visit HarrisonHistorical.com.
October 10th & 11th – Pumpkin Festival & Civil War Living History Weekend- Join us on October 10th & 11th from 10am-7pm and step back in time to the Civil war era. You will experience a Civil War reenactment , camp life, weapons and medical displays, candle dipping and live music performed by a Civil War band. October 24th – Halloween Parade & 5K Trick/Trot Fun Run- Join us on Saturday October 24th (Rain Date October 25th) at Ella Harris Park, 155 Commissioners Road. Register early and come dressed for the 5K Trick/Trot Fun Run or by 7:30am day of event. Proceeds go towards making our parks and programs accessible to all in Harrison Township. Race time is 8:30am. November 28th – Lights on Main & Small Business Saturday - Join us on Saturday November 28th from 6pm-10pm on Main Street for a festive evening. When Mayor Manzo lights our 60-foot tree, Christmas will officially begin! Come join your friends, neighbors and family as our whole community joins in revelry, festivities and laughter! There will be carriage rides along Main Street, delicious refreshments and drinks, activities for the kids, Christmas carols, and a visit from Santa! December 5th – Candlelight Shopping- Join us on Saturday December 5th from 10am- 8pm to see Main Street decorated in all its holiday splendor! Shops will be filled to the brim with candles, wreaths, books, holiday décor, antiques, gifts for all ages, and more. Main Street will be lit with candles, and shops will feature open house specials. December 12th – Christmas House Tour- (Shops open 11am-8pm.) Join us on Saturday December 12th from 2pm-7pm to see the historic homes, churches and buildings on the Christmas House Tour. See the original architecture and beautiful decor of homes dating back to the early 1700's. Live music, carolers, Civil War strollers, and Santa will be here. There will be a reading of the Dicken's classic "A Christmas Carol" at Old Town Hall, as well as open house specials and refreshments at many shops. Transportation will be provided. The Merchants' Association Meetings are held the
first Thursday of each month at 5:30 pm at the
Mullica Hill branch of the Gloucester County Library.
